Margaret Hamilton

Margaret Hamilton

Margaret Hamilton was born in August 17, 1936. She studied math at Earlham College in Richmond, Hamilton earned the NASA Exceptional Space Act Award and President Barak Obama presented her with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Margaret is highly known for the picture of her standing next the stack of code, she created software that would lead the success of the Apollo 11 mission. The most interesting thing is that Hamilton was the woman standing by the stack of papers in the NASA photo. This photo is very well known, and its pretty awesome studying the person who it was. Along with the backstory of her saving the Apollo 11 mission cements this photo in history.
